Two years have passed since we last pruned our example.
This fall we shall cut the branches shown in red on the right trunk.
The left trunk shows a stump which may, eventually, cause problems in the long-term. So it will be cut also.
This "style" of rhododendron needs 2, or even 3 decades to show its true beauty.
